A look at how this non-profit organization empowers and assists farmers in East Africa to grow sustainably and feed their families by utilizing the “Take what you have and make what you need” philosophy. By equipping small-scale farmers with plants, practices, and techniques, their goal is to reduce hunger worldwide.

This presentation will include a brief video about ECHO, then “Appropriate Technology” tools and implements will be demonstrated.

This is part of our One Book One Community program, whose selection for 2022 is “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba.
