Join the Friends of Fruitville Library for a presentation by Sarasota County archaeologist Steve Koski and hear about some of our local underwater archaeological sites:   how they were found, how they can be protected, and what we can learn about the people who once lived along our ever-changing landscapes and coastlines.  Steve has been diving into Florida waters for more than 30 years and is responsible for many important discoveries that shed light on ancient cultures.  His most recent work is with the Manasota Key Offshore site. 

This exciting program will follow a brief annual report of the Friends of Fruitville Library.  Refreshments and door prizes!
