Program Description
Danielle Valery of the Memory Disorder Clinic of Sarasota Memorial Hospital will help us gain a better understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, including common symptoms, causes, and progressive stages. She will cover behavioral symptoms associated with dementia, how to communicate effectively with persons with dementia and local resources available to assist those with dementia, their families, and caregivers.
After the lecture, attendees will be able to sign up for a free Memory Screening on June 13th, here at Jacaranda Library.
