Crocheted Unicorn

  • Course description: Have you ever dreamed of having a unicorn pal? Now you can create your very own magical pet. Crochet designer Twinkie Chan shows you how to make your unicorn with simple crochet stitches, then how to assemble it by stuffing and whipstitching the pieces together. Finally, you will use a simple latch-hook method to add a colorful mane and tail.
  • This Creativebug course recommends the following materials:
    • White yarn, approximately 60 yards
    • Mustard yarn, approximately 6 yards
    • Yarn in red, orange, yellow, green and blue (your choice of shades!), approximately 2 yards each
    • Two 6mm black safety eyes
    • Crochet hooks, size G6(4.0mm) and H8(5.0mm)
    • Scissors
    • Straight pins
    • Stitch marker (or an 8" scrap of contrasting yarn)
    • Polyester stuffing
    • Small wooden craft stick, chopstick or unsharpened pencil to help with stuffing.
