Program Description

Details

Cooking Matters is a 6-week health/nutrition education and cooking class that meets once a week for up to two hours. During the course, participants will learn about nutrition, budgeting, shopping, and more followed by an interactive meal preparation and cooking learning session. Participants will then eat their meals together and take free groceries home to make the meals again for themselves and their families using the knowledge gained in the class.

**This program is a series. Registration and attendance throughout the course is required. The first class of the series takes place on Wednesday, September 5th. If interested, please register for this first class and continue to attend each week until the end of the course.**

If you are interested in participating in this six-week-long course, please register online, by phone, or in person at your local library.

Cooking Matters is presented by All Faiths Food Bank, a local non-profit dedicated to serving the Sarasota County community.
