Details

After completing the Computer Basics, Part 1, the student is ready to use the skills learned to access software and learn about Toolbars and Ribbons. The basics of file creating and organizing will be demonstrated. How to use File: names, folders, and extensions, is described. You will learn how to create new Files, open existing Files and Save Files. You will also learn how to Search for files. You will learn about the Folders provided by the System Software (OS). You will also learn what the Ribbon is and how to use it to generate, correct and modify a word document. Bring your laptop to class or use ours.
