Join 96-year-old Chuck Palmeri, award-winning author of "Boy Soldier: Recollections of World War II," as he presents Eyewitness to Dachau; a member of the 42nd Infantry, the “Rainbow” Division, Chuck visited the infamous Nazi concentration camp in the days immediately following its liberation. Chuck’s publisher Liz Coursen will lead off this event with a discussion of the Dachau concentration camp’s history, and then Chuck will talk about what he saw when he arrived at Dachau, the “gates of Hell.”
