Sarasota County might be 100 years old this year, but it’s paranormal past extends much farther back than that.  Before the state was a state and the county was a county, there were whispers of noises people couldn’t explain and stories of shadows creeping just out of sight.  Join folklorist and writer Christopher Balzano as he opens up the history book on local hauntings, telling tales of old Florida, new Florida, and the Florida you didn’t know existed.

Christopher Balzano is a writer, researcher, folklorist, and the current host of the podcast Tripping on Legends (http://triplegend.hipcast.com/rss/tol1.xml).  He has been documenting the unexplained since 1994 and has been a figure in the paranormal world through his book, articles, and his work as the director of Massachusetts Paranormal Crossroads and now Tripping on Legends (www.trippingonlegends.com).
