Please join Asian specialist Paul Sarno for a lecture on the Buddhist-Muslim Conflict in Southwestern Myanmar.

Paul Sarno is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Columbia Law School. He was a civil trial lawyer in New York City for thirty-eight years.

From his undergraduate days, he has nurtured a fascination with Southeast Asia. Through wide ranging readings, fifteen visits, membership in both the Asia Society and the Burma Studies Foundation, he has been engaged in a systematic effort to better understand these eleven countries.
