Beethoven to the Beatles

Presenting Concert Guitarist Jane Rosenbohm on the story of how music and the guitar have changed throughout history. Musical examples will demonstrate changes from earlier music to contemporary music. The story will include works by Beethoven, the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven."

Jane will talk about how music and the guitar changed with the invention of the printing press, the steam engine, the microphone, electric guitars, 45 rpm records, and the introduction of Artificial Intelligence. At the end of the presentation there will be time for questions, answers, and comments.

Jane has performed and taught guitar professionally for over 60 years. She has performed throughout North America, Rome, and Ecuador. Jane has also performed in rock bands, country rock bands, with orchestras, and solo.
