Dale Chihuly (b. 1941) is an American glass sculptor and entrepreneur. His works are considered
unique in the field of blown glass. His vision of “what glass can be” has changed the medium into
a world-class art form in which Objet d'art moved from the curio cabinet into the realm of large-scale
sculpture and Land Art.
This is the first of three summer lectures at VPL by Baila Miller on the second Friday in May, July and August.
