The Arts Alliance Playreaders take the excitement of live theater out to the community by presenting staged readings. This October they will be performing an adapted version of "Plaza Suite" by Neil Simon.
From the publisher:
Hilarity abounds in this portrait of 3 couples successively occupying a suite at The Plaza Hotel. A suburban couple takes the suite while their house is being painted and it turns out to be the one they honey-mooned in 23 (or was it 24?) years before. The suite is next occupied by a Hollywood producer who is looking for a new love life. He calls a childhood sweetheart and finds she is more than he bargained for. The last couple is fighting about the best way to get their daughter out of the bathroom and down to the ballroom where guests await her wedding.
