Program Description

Details

Have you ever felt happy, sad, grumpy, silly, or scared? Navigating our day to day feelings and emotions
can be challenging, especially when we don’t quite understand them. Identifying our feelings is an important part of processing them and learning how to access the power of ‘calm’ can help us achieve mindfulness and enhance social-emotional skills. This program aims to do just that!

Dance is an expressive art form that allows us to demonstrate our feelings and emotions and process them safely and creatively. Students will use gestures and creative movement to identify and express these common feelings, identify scenarios that may evoke these feelings, and then be presented with
powerful tools, such as the power of ‘calm,’ to help maintain balance and self-control.

This class is geared for children ages 5 to 9. Register today to reserve your space as capacity is limited.
