The Art of Ikebana Floral Exhibition

Please join us to explore the art of Ikebana in this day-long exhibition sponsored by the Sarasota Chapter of Ikebana International. There are many schools of Ikebana, and 5 of the main schools are highlighted in the arrangements on display by chapter members. Each arrangement celebrates nature in all its glory and uses local and exotic materials, along with Florida native plants. Also on display are arrangements by children who have explored the art of Ikebana through workshops. The goal of the Sarasota Chapter of Ikebana International is to appreciate the beauty of natural environments by using creative designs and containers.
