Join Professor Peter Carney from State College of Florida as he discusses one of the greatest moments in American music. How did soul music and rock create the sound of Motown. From the Temptations to Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, discover how the motor city reinvented American music after the British invasion.
Part lecture and part performance, Prof. Carney will be joined by some student jazz musicians from the college.
