As much as 75% of the earth's biomass consists of insects; they come in an incredible array of sizes, colors, and functions. Humans have domesticated a number of species, such as the honeybee, but it is the wild species that truly run the world. Insects are miracles of evolution and are the primary consumers in the food web as well as the primary agents for decomposition and recycling. Join Master Naturalist Kate Borduas as she explores the ways that insects run the world.
