What connects us more deeply than the universal language of food?

Join us on May 2nd at the Selby Library for a special installment of the SCAS Community Speakers Series, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, featuring the renowned Chef Amalia.

She will lead us through a conversation that explores the unity and generosity of food, intertwined with the rich tapestry of her personal history, from her roots in Guadalajara, Mexico, to her ascension as a professional chef. Discover how her journey, marked by appearances on MasterChef Latino and her role as a TV personality, has been influenced by her culinary and graphic design expertise.

This event promises to be a fascinating exploration of culture, passion, and the culinary arts, as seen through the eyes of an elite personal chef.

And the fun doesn’t stop there. Join us after the talk at Circo Restaurant (www.circosrq.com) for a meet and greet with Chef Amalia.

More info about this program, and Chef Amalia, can be found on the Sister Cities Events Page.
